Certicom’s Intellectual Property Licensing Program provides licenses to organizations that have implemented or are wishing to implement the technologies covered in Certicom’s extensive patent portfolio.

Certicom grants licenses to its entire patent portfolio or portions of its patent portfolio and receives royalty payments from the licensee based on how the technology is implemented.

Certicom recognizes that the intellectual property contained in its patents can be implemented to increase the value of many types of products by offering the strongest, most efficient security available today. As a result, the Certicom Intellectual Property Licensing Program is managed as a revenue-generating business.
