Cryptographic Engineer

John joined Certicom in 1991, where he has served in a number of capacities, including product development, consultation, toolkit management, and customer support.

In 1998, John moved to Certicom Research, where his current duties include mathematical consultation, patent searching and compilation, standards compliance, drafting of standards, and maintaining the Certicom Research Library.

John holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Toronto. His thesis was on the subject of algebraic topology.
