Mississauga, ON - April 6, 2015 - Certicom Corp. today announced that it has generated nearly sixty million certificates to more than seventy companies worldwide since the device authentication service for ZigBee Smart Energy was unveiled in 2008.

Providing a root of trust based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), Certicom remains a strong leader in the secure management and enhancement of low-cost interoperability of ZigBee Smart Energy devices.
